  • Return Request Data: Items being returned, return reasons, resolution preferences, and customer communications.
  • App Configuration: Your return policy settings, branding preferences, and notification configurations.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Exchange It return management service
  • Process return and exchange requests on your behalf
  • Send transactional emails to your customers regarding their return status
  • Improve and optimize the App's functionality
  • Provide customer support

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. We may share information with:

  • Shopify: As required to operate within the Shopify platform
  • Shippo: If you use the shipping label integration (Advanced plan only)
  • SendGrid: For sending transactional email notifications
  • AWS: For secure file storage (return item photos)

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your Exchange It subscription is active. Upon uninstallation, your data is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely.
